Football

Hello, I am Christopher Kent and I play lots of football seeing as it’s my favourite sport. I play for a team called Harpenden colts cultures and I play at the under 18 level. We play in a Hertfordshire based league named the Watford friendly league. In this you play multiple teams based in the Hertfordshire area. There are 8 different divisions and my team are champions of the 4th league.

I also enjoy watching football, the team I enjoy watching are Tottenham Hotspurs. My favourite player is Luke Modaric who is Croatian. I watch them every Saturday at every home game, in their home ground in London White Heart Lane.

I’ve been following the world cup also. Unfortunately England where knocked out early through poor performance, but the team i also follow is Netherlands as they have been a lot more impressive and successfully made there way to the final. When I play football I play defence or midfield. I enjoy playing football as it helps maintain my fitness which is an important part of my life as a keen sportsman.

There are a lot of opportunities to play football in Hertfordshire either competitively or just for fun.
